The Passenger Spoke Guard is a molded plastic panel that covers the spokes over the rear wheel, so a child's foot, a shoelace, a pant leg, or a loose cargo strap can't slip into the spinning spokes. Once you're carrying a passenger or a load on the rear deck, it's the piece that makes that setup genuinely safe.
