A First of its Kind E-Mobility Concept: Utility Personal Transporter

Vancouver, Canada (November 17, 2023) — The innovative, out-of-the-box team at ENVO Drive Systems is launching another of its trademark highly versatile e-mobility concepts, the Utility Personal Transporter (UPT): This powerful, long-range, all-wheel-drive utility platform looks similar to the chassis of a golf cart, but in place of the body/seats, it offers a wide range of possible configurations and builds, and it’s designed to handle anything from garden/home improvement jobs to pushing a mower or snow plow to a backcountry rescue vehicle and much more. It can even convert to a fully covered micro e-car.

 While delivery will probably not begin until early 2025, ENVO Drive Systems expects to start taking pre-orders on the new UPT by the end of this year. And with seemingly endless configurations and functions – plus early interest from the likes of law-enforcement groups, rescue teams, hunting/fishing organizations, construction companies, park/forest administrators, commercial farms, and of course general consumers – ENVO expects plenty of pre-orders from the start.

The UPT’s modular design, flat floor surface, and array of attachment points are the key to its configurability. This all-wheel-drive base platform features a fold-up, telescoping steering column for standing operation – plus an adjustable fold-down seat/leaning support – allows for simple, narrow-profile upright or stacked storage/transport. From there, users can install accessories like high-capacity carriers and trays, a variety of seating options, gear racks, weather protection, and more, plus front and rear hitches allow for plowing, mowing, etc.

ENVO expects to begin taking pre-orders on its website by the end of this year, with a $500 deposit for delivery beginning in early 2025. The base price at this point is expected to be between $12,000 and $15,000.
