Ever wondered how electric utility vehicles fare on a real farm? ENVO recently put their UPT (Utility Personal Transporter) and UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) to the test at a local farm, showcasing just how valuable these electric powerhouses can be for daily agricultural chores.
A Warm Welcome from the Locals
Adam from ENVO kicked off the visit, introducing us to the farm and the exciting plan to film the UPT and UTV in action. Even the farm's resident horses and alpacas couldn't help but be curious about the new electric machines rolling onto their turf!
Hauling Hay Made Easy
One of the key demonstrations involved the UPT efficiently transporting hay. The video clearly shows the straightforward process of attaching a trailer to the UPT using its hitch receiver. Once hooked up, the UPT made quick work of delivering fresh hay to both the horses and the alpacas. Talk about an effortless way to feed the crew!
Smoothing Things Over in the Arena
The UPT also proved its versatility by tackling arena maintenance. While the ground was still frozen during filming, the UPT effortlessly demonstrated how it could be used with a drag attachment to smooth out the arena surface once the weather warms up. It's easy to see how this electric workhorse could save a lot of time and effort for routine upkeep.
