Different needs. A common foundation.

A vehicle should fit the people, work and places it serves. Specialized mobility often means building a separate vehicle for every job.

UPT brings modular structure and electric drive into one shared foundation that can support different layouts, bodies and equipment, so builders can focus on what makes their vehicle distinctive. Where does modular mobility create a real, useful advantage? That is what this contest explores.

More from the same starting point

Share the foundation

Reuse a common chassis, drive and battery across many applications.

Focus on the application

Spend your effort on the need that makes your vehicle distinctive.

Adapt to the task

Reconfigure layout, body and equipment as requirements change.

Reuse components and knowledge

Make servicing and development more consistent across vehicles.

An idea can become part of a bigger journey

In the first ENVO Next Move, Alan Tam proposed NEXT-GEN, a modular electric platform for several different uses. His concept won Gold among hundreds of international entries.

Alan joined ENVO, bringing industrial design into the engineering effort that developed toward UPT. Your proposal could show us the next application, capability or partner we have not discovered yet.

Prove the application. Show what you can build.

Propose a vehicle based on UPT that solves a clear mobility problem. Show how its layout, body, attachments, seating or equipment would serve the people using it, and explain the advantage of building it around a modular foundation.

Your concept might serve a farm, a delivery route, an industrial site, a resort, an emergency team or a person with a specific mobility need. Designers, businesses, fleets, builders and manufacturers are all welcome. Enter with a render, a drawing, a written idea or a combination.

Frequently asked questions

Who can take part?

This is a global contest. Participants from all countries are welcome, subject to applicable law. Enter individually or as a team of up to four, including on behalf of a business. Younger entrants need parent or guardian consent where applicable.

What language should I use?

Submit your written explanation, board text and required concept information in English so the international jury can evaluate entries consistently.

Do I need to be a designer?

No. You can submit a written idea in English without a render or drawing. Explain the user’s need and how your vehicle would use UPT.

Are designs and ideas judged separately?

No. Every eligible entry is evaluated in one competition using the same criteria and competes for the same grand prize.

Can we enter as a team?

Yes. Teams may include up to four people. Name all members and appoint one contact person. A winning team receives one e-bike.

Can I submit more than one concept?

Each individual or team may submit one concept. You can include multiple configurations of that concept and revise it before the deadline.

Can I use AI-generated images?

No. AI-generated designs and renders are ineligible, including generated visuals used as the basis of a design. Use your own drawings, CAD, conventional renders or ENVO configurator outputs.

Can I enter during or after CES?

Yes. Registration and submissions stay open until February 15, 2027. The early cutoff applies only to CES showcase consideration.

Who owns my submission?

You keep ownership of your original work. ENVO receives permission to display and promote it with creator credit for the contest. Any commercial development is a separate agreement.

Will ENVO manufacture the winning concept?

Selection does not promise manufacturing, employment or a development contract. ENVO may contact participants to discuss a potential collaboration.
